Job Position: Both Apprenticeship & Non-Apprenticeship Positions
Salary: $45,000.00 to $50,000.00/year. Comprehensive Benefits package offered after successful completion of 3 month probationary period.
Job Requirement
- Skills and Requirements:
- - Knowledge in plant identification and lawn/plant care
- - Minimum 5+ years experience in horticulture/landscaping maintenance
- - Experienced in the operation and use of maintenance power tools (lawn mowers, line trimmers, hedgers, blowers, aerators, etc.)
- - Capable of operating required equipment and tools in a safe and responsible manner
- - Physically fit with the ability to lift 50+ pounds
- - Ability to follow safe working procedures
- - Drivers license with ability to drive a truck with a trailer an asset but not required
- - Equipment maintenance experience is a strong asset
- - Works well as a team player and expresses a natural tenacity to lead a team towards goals
- - Ability to manage a team, monitoring progress against time, and ensuring top quality
- - Works well under pressure, can handle a high pace environment

Job Description
– Lawn mowing, edge trimming, blowing of debris, aerate and fertilize lawn areas as well as performing other lawn care duties
– Planting of annuals, bulbs, shrubs, and trees
– Weeding, cultivating and fertilizing garden beds
– Pruning trees and shrubs
– Utilizing hand tools, power tools, and other necessary equipment to complete job tasks
– Operating power equipment including, but not limited to, lawn mowers, line trimmers, blowers, hedge trimmers, pruning saws, pole cutters, sod cutters, aerators and power rakes
– Manually moving equipment and soil/plant materials, as well a using shovels, wheelbarrows, and other transporting tools
– Wearing appropriate company attire and personal protective equipment at all times
– Communicating with clients and team members in a friendly and professional manner
– Daily uploading of work scope sheets and receipts to Company CRM
– Regular meeting with Maintenance Manager
– Weekly goals review meeting with President
