Salary: Hourly wage, discussed upon application and dependant on experience.
Job Requirement
- - All work must be completed to BCFSC / WORKSAFE BC rules
- - Acknowledge the importance of PPE and wear the appropriate safety gear everyday.
- - Learn and participate in the maintenance of all equipment used on the job and treat it with respect.
- - Assists in the daily loading and unloading of equipment.
- - Assits in the set up of jobsites including correct placement of safety cones and signs as well as moving them throughtout the day as required.
- - Takes direction willingly from CUA and Arborist and is willing to assist them as required.
- - Willingness to learn new skills.
Transportation Requirements
- Must have Drivers license
- Own Vehicle Preferred
Job Description
We are a well established, respected and award winning tree care company owned and operated by a certified utility arborist with 40 years of industry experience and a ISA Certified / Tree Risk Assessment Qualified Arborist. We strive to be the best at what we do; working safely, customer service, superior work and honesty are the cornerstones of our business. We provide tree pruning, trimming, cabling and bracing, removals, stump grinding and some planting. We have various commercial, government and residential clients as well as being approved BC Hydro contractors. This position is ideal for someone with a good attitude that is eager to learn all aspects of aboriculture from running a wood chipper and dragging brush to climbing and bucket work.
Job Location
Abbotsford, Mission and the entire Fraser Valley.
Additional Information
This position is Monday to Friday, typically overtime is not required. Hours and days are subject to change during extreme storm situations.
