The deadline for apprentices to register for the in-school training portion for the Arborist Technician certification has been extended until January 5th. Don’t delay; seats are limited, and the next class will not run until January 2025.
This 8-week program runs from Jan 08, 2024–Mar 01, 2024, at the Kwantlen Polytechnic University Langley Campus.
KPU has assembled an incredible group of highly skilled and experienced instructors who will give apprentices the skills they need to succeed as an arborist in the current urban forest environment.
If you want to take the next step in your arborist career or start a career in Arboriculture, visit Kwantlen Polytechnic University’s information page on Arborist Technician Apprenticeship. https://calendar.kpu.ca/apprenticeships/arborist-technician-apprenticeship/
You must enroll by submitting an apprentice registration form by the December 15th deadline. Follow KPU’s step-by-step guide at https://www.kpu.ca/hort/apprenticeship

2. those who are between jobs
3. those with no experience who want to gain some knowledge and hands-on experience at school before starting a career in arboriculture.
